The Wooden Bridge of Bogoda
March 2013

"Did you know", my friend Sunanda remarked, "that the oldest surviving all wooden bridge in the world is right here in Sri Lanka up near Badulla?" I had to admit that I didn't know there were any wooden bridges left in the country, much less the oldest in the world! But it sounded like a fascinating subject for a story.
