Liebe Forumsmitglieder,
ich werde hier in diesem Thread einige mir bekannte Restaurant (ich muss nur schauen, dass ich alle auch im Internet finden kann) vorstellen. Es sind keine Guesthouses und keine Hotels - es sind Restaurants die allesamt etwas ganz Spezielles bieten.
Vielleicht wird Hänschen einen eigenen Punkt dieses Threads eröffnen - wäre schön. Ich werde es dann von Zeit zu Zeit immer wieder erneuern und neue Lokale hinzufügen.
The Casserole
The Casserole, Situated on Galle Road, Mount Lavinia. (Opposite the turn off to hotel road) is our featured restaurant for this month.
It is a family restaurant situated on the first floor with spacious interior and a glass facade offering a comfortable and elegant dinning experience for the whole family. The Casserole is open for lunch and dinner offering a choice of mouth watering Indian, Chinese and Western Cuisines prepared for you while you wait and served to your table fresh and sizzling.
The dinning experience comes alive with pipe music on weekdays and live calypso band or Paduru Party style music happening on weekends, from 7.00 pm onwards. This is a great place to bring the kids and spend a quality evening with the whole family pampering your taste buds. The restaurant does not sell any liquor, wines or beer.
Casserole also allows guests to hire the second floor banquet hall for private parties or functions. With a seating capacity of 200 and an attractive, air conditioned interior this is the perfect place for a private party away from the hassle and bustle central Colombo.
Casserole also offers take away set menu lunches and ample secure parking in the basement car park.
So just take your whole family and enjoy a quiet evening of dinning at the Casserole!
