In SL gibt es dank Corona auch bei Fliesenhersteller Liefervrrzögerungen von 3 Monaten.
Unser Bekannter ist " not Amused " unsere Unterkunft bei ihm kann nicht fertig gestellt werden,wir könnten zwar im Erdgeschoss den Buben ihr Zimmer haben,aber wir wollen den BURSCHEN nicht ihr Zimmer rauben.
Nun haben wir uns In Hikka ein Appartment gemietet (Ich bin die einzigste Frau, welche ich kenne ,mit einem Geschirrspüler in SL).
Fahren wir halt öfter mal für 1-2 Nächte nach Galle zum Schock.
 

Sri Lanka verhängt Reisebeschränkungen gegen sechs afrikanische Länder​


Im Gespräch mit News 1st sagte der Vorsitzende der Zivilluftfahrtbehörde, Upul Dharmadasa, dass Reisende, die aus Südafrika, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Simbabwe und Swasiland anreisen, ab heute 12:00 Uhr nicht mehr in Sri Lanka von Bord gehen dürfen (27).

 
Tourists from six banned countries have not arrived in Sri Lanka, Minister affirms

Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says that tourists from six banned countries have not arrived in the country in the last 14 days.

Speaking to media after a meeting in Colombo yesterday (27).Minister Prasanna Ranatunga in response to questions raised by journalists said the statistics of the Tourism Development Authority confirms that no tourists have arrived in the island from the six Southern African countries.

Sein Kumpel Asoka (Vater der stolzen Braut) schon seit 10 Jahren Grauhaarige,ist doch tatsächlich über Nacht zu einer extrem schwarzen Haarpracht gekommen.
Gemahlsgatte ist schon mind.30 Jahre Grauhaarig wird dann wohl jeden Abend ein paar Arrack trinken damit er nicht so explosionsartig mit einer schwarzen Haarpracht morgens aufwacht.
Habe ihm gerade meine schwarze langhaarige Karnevals Perücke probehalber angezogen,bekam aber Fotoverbot.
Also alle Grauhaarigen "OBACHT " man kann diesem Phänomen nur mit Arrack entgegenwirken.
 
Stock of donated Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine arrives in Sri Lanka

Dec 02, Colombo:
A stock of 182,400 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine donated to Sri Lanka were flown from Dubai to the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport this morning (2).

The consignment, weighing 1,014 kilograms and packed in 32 boxes was first flown from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Sri Lanka prepared to eliminate Omicron variant

Sri Lanka has an accurate understanding regarding the spread of the new Omicron variant, and the health officials point out that laboratory facilities are available to identify the virus through genetic analysis if it enters the country, President’s Media Center said today.

These views were expressed at a media briefing organized by the Presidential Media Center, today (02) under the theme "The country is ready to eliminate Omicron variant ".

Sri Lanka reports 27 Covid-19 deaths on Thursday, toll rises to 14,399

Dec 02, Colombo:
Sri Lanka Thursday reported 27 deaths due to COVID-19 after the figures were confirmed by the Director General of Health Services on Wednesday, December 01.
Among the deaths reported today, 16 are of males and 11 of females. The majority of deaths - 19 - are of elderly people in the 60 years and above age group.

According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began last year has now risen to 14,399.

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Health Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella says that the government has taken all possible measures to combat the global Covid disaster in Sri Lanka.

The Minister pointed out that the government is paying close attention to the need to take the economy to a strong level, even in the midst of a disaster. He was speaking at a meeting with BIMSTEC Secretary General Tenzin Lekpell held at the Ministry this morning (07).

Sri Lanka lifts travel ban imposed on arrivals from Southern African countries

Sri Lanka has lifted the ban imposed on passengers travelling from South Africa and several other southern African countries.

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Chairman Upul Dharmadasa today said that the travel ban imposed on passengers traveling from six countries in the African region, including South Africa, has been lifted, effective immediately.

President instructs to complete administration of booster doses to curb spread of COVID-19

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa instructed the members of the Special Committee on COVID-19 Control to take necessary steps to complete administering booster doses within the next two weeks to control the spread of COVID-19 during the upcoming festive season.

The President made these remarks during the meeting of the Special Committee on COVID-19 Control held at the Presidential Secretariat, today (10).

Drei neue OMICRON-Fälle aus Sri Lanka​


Drei weitere Menschen mit der OMICRON-Variante wurden in Sri Lanka gefunden, sagt die Leiterin der Abteilung für Allergieimmunologie und Zellbiologie an der Sri Jayawardenapura Universität, Dr. Chandima Jeewandara.

Dementsprechend wird die Gesamtzahl der Menschen aus Sri Lanka, die mit der OMICRON-Variante infiziert sind, auf vier steigen.

In einem Tweet ermutigte Dr. Jeewandara die Öffentlichkeit auch, die Auffrischungsdosis des COVID-19-Impfstoffs zu erhalten.

 

Tourist mit Omicron ging möglicherweise in Sri Lanka in Clubs​


Einer von vier omicron-Trägern, die in Sri Lanka identifiziert wurden, war ein Ausländer, der an zwei Abenden vor der Ausreise das Land Nachtclubs besucht hatte, sagte der Gewerkschaftsführer der Public Health Inspectors (PHI), Upul Rohana, unter Berufung auf "inoffizielle Berichte".

"Wir wurden noch von keiner der Gesundheitsbehörden über diese Omicron-Patienten informiert", sagte Rohana am Freitag (17) gegenüber Reportern.

Die stellvertretende Direktorin für Gesundheitsdienste, Dr. Hemantha Herath, sagte, einer der vier in Sri Lanka entdeckten Fälle sei ein enger Kontakt des ersten Trägers der Omicron-Variante am 3. Dezember gewesen. Der erste Patient war aus einem afrikanischen Land nach Sri Lanka gekommen....

 

Impfpasspflicht für öffentliche Plätze ab 1. Januar​


Die Regierung hat beschlossen, es für Menschen obligatorisch zu machen, Covid-19-Impfkarten im Besitz zu haben, wenn sie öffentliche Plätze ab dem 1. Januar 2022 betreten, so Tourismusminister Prasanna Ranatunga.

Während des gestrigen Covid-19-Treffens des Bezirks Gampaha (19) sagte er, dass die Regierung beschlossen habe, die Covid-19-Impfkarten beim Betreten öffentlicher Orte ab dem 1. Januar 2022 obligatorisch zu machen. Er sagte auch, dass das Gesundheitsministerium die notwendigen Schritte unternimmt, um die genannte Entscheidung umzusetzen....
