Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed the Ministry of Highways to construct a new bridge across the Kokilai lagoon in the Eastern Province.
The proposed bridge to be built with the objective of expanding transport services between North and the East will connect the Trincomalee district and the Mullaitivu district along the Eastern shoreline.
