Oct 07, Colombo: Restoration work will begin on the ferry service between Sri Lanka and Rameswaram in India, once the Northern Railway Line to Thalaimannar is completed by December this year, according to an official of IRCON International.
India's state-owned, IRCON International is constructing the Madhu-Thalaimannar railway line in the North under an Indian Credit line.
The ferry service between the two countries is set to be initiated through the Indian Government with their undertaking of IRCON International.
