Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, newest passenger plane arrives at BIA

Mar 27, Colombo: The world’s newest passenger plane Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at Katunayake early today (27) for the first time.
This is the first time that this Boeing 787-10 aircraft belonging to Singapore Airlines has arrived at Katunayake Airport as well as Singapore Airlines is the first to fly the new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, said Mr. Wasantha Kudaliyanage, Managing Director of Aitken Spence Company, the Sri Lankan agent of Singapore Airlines.
The Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner is the latest and longest member in the Boeing 787 family of commercial aircraft.
Designed to be more uplifting in every way, the wide-bodied Boeing 787-10 powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 TEN can carry 337 passengers and Singapore Airlines’s aircraft has 36 business class seats and 301 economy class seats.
