A place no one tells you about in Sri Lanka is the picturesque Castlereigh reservoir in Dickoya. This week we were invited by Teardrop Hotels to check out their beautiful Camelia hills property which is nestled amongst the tea estates of Castlereigh. Neue Zufahrtsstraße zu Horton Plains wird für eröffnet erklärt
Eine neue Zufahrtsstraße durch Diyagama zu den Horton Plains soll morgen vom Department of Wildlife Conservation eröffnet werden.
Der Parkwächter Sisira Ratnayake teilte den Medien gestern mit, dass die neue Straße von der Ministerin für Wildtiere und Waldressourcen, Pavithra Wanniarachchi, und der Generaldirektorin Chandana Suriyabandara für eröffnet erklärt würden.
Er sagte, die Straße sei ein natürlicher Weg für Touristen, um zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu fahren. Der Parkwächter sagte, dass die Einfahrt anderer Fahrzeuge in die Zufahrtsstraße unter keinen Umständen erlaubt sei.
