Yaalpaanam, or Jaffna as it is known, was known for the wrong reasons for the past 30 years. The war that rocked the entire country was centered in and around the peninsula.Today, the peninsula has caught the eyes of thousands of people who are curious to know what the once war-affected battle zone has in store. The war has ended and the roads have been opened for the people. In short, Jaffna has become a tourist attraction to many who visit. But, it still has stories to tell.
