es hat mir bei Art on Ice gefallen wie immer...früher war ich mit meiner Mutter am Holiday on Ice....dann wurde es geändert in Art on Ice....da ist es das speziele das zu Livemusik gelaufen wird...

An old fan of this newsletter from Switzerland who forwards this weekly newsletter to friends, brought one of the people who receives the letter each week, but whom she had never met before, to call on me. He is Joerg Dreckmann, a writer/photographer, who is updating his own guide to Sri Lanka published in German by Reise Know-How Verlag.

We shared tips on rail travel and he agreed with me that bus travel in this country is not worth the risk nor the agony. His favourite way of touring independently is by tuk tuk, those buzzing, three-wheeler contraptions that function as taxis and are to be found throughout Sri Lanka.
