Sri Lanka Central Bank allows flexibility in the exchange rate up to Rs. 230 per dollar

SL rupee hits Rs. 300 against US Dollar at Standard Chartered​

The Sri Lankan rupee touched a record low of Rs. 300 against the US Dollar today at the licensed Commercial Bank, Standard Chartered.
Also, the exchange rates of several other licensed Commercial Banks reported Rs. 299 and Rs. 295 against the US Dollar today.
However, according to the Central bank of Sri Lanka, the selling rate is at 294.99 while buying rate is at 284.82.
