Authorities in Sri Lanka have decided to charge a fee from foreigners who wish to climb Sri Pada, also known as Adam's Peak, the most sacred mountain in Sri Lanka.
The Wildlife Conservation Ministry has mooted this proposal with the aim of improving facilities for visitors to the sacred site.
