Description:
Aanawila Bungalow is located just 2km from the main entrance to Wilpattu, at Hunuwilagama. It is designed by the world renowned artist, architect and landscape designer Laki Senanayake.

The bungalow has a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with open air shower) on the ground floor, and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom (once again complete with an open air shower) upstairs.
The upstairs also has a separate WC and washbasin, and a cut cement L shaped sleeping deck that can accommodate 8.

We are not connected to the grid. However, we have lights through solar, and a separate solar panel complete with an inverter purely for charging phones, laptops and cameras.
We also have an imported ice box at the bungalow.

We have created a man made waterhole, and the jungle surrounds makes this a haven for nature lovers. We have recorded over 100 species of birds in the bungalow garden. In addition, spotted deer, mouse deer, loris, and elephants (during the dry season from June-September) have been seen in the premises.

We have a caretaker cum cook, and assistant who will provide you with some mouth watering meals.

The maximum occupancy is 10 pax (including children and infants).
